I am in 7th grade, and I have a GPA of 1.5, I heard that having a GPA of 2.0 is passing and I also heard somewhere that your GPA rounds off, so you can pass, is this true?

No. Sorry.

People only round up or down when casually talking about their grades. It's easier to say 1.5 than 1.47 or 1.51.

When your school looks to see if they're going to fail you or not, they're going to see if you're below a 2.0 or not. They may give you a little leeway, but in terms of GPA, a .5 difference is HUGE. That's more than going from a D- to a D. 2.0 should be a C. 1.7 or so is a C-. 1.5 is clearly in the D range.

They don't round your GPA so if you have a 1.9 they won't push it to be a 2.0 just work on bring up your grades up you are still young before you regret if and are in high school and won't get accepted to any colleges with that GPA. I know what I'm telling you I'm in high school now I have a 3.5 GPA but when I was in your shoes I would have the same GPA as you do but with those grades you are not going to get any where.
