I have had a crush on this girl in my history class for several months but do not know how to "get" with her. In class, she would often stare at me, twirl/redo her hair, and point her knee towards me. However, I'm not sure if she actually likes me back. Whenever I do get a rare chance to talk to her, the conversation would always be simple one-word exchanges.
So, with that in mind, there's another problem. I never seem to bump into her in the halls and she always arrives in class before I do and leaves quickly when it ends. Since the teacher only lectures and she sits diagonally across the room from me, I can't seem to find any reason to ever talk to her. I've known her very slightly in the past, so introducing myself to her would seem odd.
So, the question is: does she like me, and what is the best thing to do in this situation?

Another problem is that there is absolutely no homework in that class. Therefore, the only thing I could even possibly talk about with her is about the exams (which are quite plain and solid).

She's of course probably shy. I'm a shy girl and I usually would answer with only on word like, "yes or no". You need to ask more specific questions like, "Hey did you do your homework I thought it was easy!!" And if she goes like, "Yeah.." then just go like, "What do you think?" and she'll be more responsive. Don't speak TOO much when you talk to her. Talk to her for a little bit each day then you'll be more comfortable each day and you'll become friends, trust me it works!

lets see how we can help......you need to find a way for her to notice you. think of sumthin she looks like she is into, talk to her friends and find out simple things like fave bands, movie, foods, stuff like that! after that just try to have a normal convo and get to kno her, in this time she will get to kno you too! find out wat she looks for in a guy! that always helps! but just dont tell her shes hott......beautiful is a much better word gurls, well most gurls bdont like to be called hott!! just do watever it tkes to start a convo!

Take this from a girl! She likes you. "Playing" with her hair means she's flirting. Ask her on a study date.
