In a very liberal sense, the Force has its roots in the religion of the Celts. The Druids have a view of energy similar to Yoda's description of the Force in Empire. Much beyond that, the connection is lost. The Druids would not have seen a distinction between the Sith and the Jedi. They trained themselves in all of the arts, both constructive and destructive. There was no view of evil or wrongness (that comes from the Abrahamic religions). Yoda could have passed for a Druid in the original three movies but in the newer ones the similarity starts to crumble.

I doubt if George Lucas is using the Druid Spiritualism there because I saw fight scenes more of Japanese Kendo and Kung Fu stunts. Their Philosophy falls most on Buddhist tenets although the area and the environment looks Druid.
Some words are even similar to Islamic ideas.

I thought the Jedi sounded kinda confused in Episode 3, neither the Jedi not Sith seemed like they had a great philosophy of life although the Sith were nastier
