I see some innocent infants, initiated into commercial evangelism, singing and dancing on the stage at evangelic carnivals as well as on T V screens. Does it not amount to insatiable greed for money taxing the children beyond limits? It is evident that they are brain washed! They too utter lies. Is it good parenting or cruel parenting? As they are used for commercial gain, can't the Evangelists be booked for violating Child Labour Act? In India we see of children being abducted, cruelly disfigured and disabled – mostly blinded – and sent out to streets for begging. Are Evangelists’ children any different except that their presentations are different? I admit I am biased as I see innocent children – one even looks around six or seven - with failing health are used to add colour and enjoyment to programmes. What is the remedy?

Read 1John Chapter 4. It basically tells us to be careful and test those spirits. Which sometimes can be done by simply comparing what someone says with what is written in the Bible. As for kids showing off their talent, there is nothing wrong with a parent to help guide and direct a child. That is what parents are for. Some times Christians just want to get a point across and the best way is to show it.
It all depends on the intentions behind it that will make it right or wrong. We as humans can make mistakes and misunderstand what we see sometimes, on the other hand they are just as human as us. So we all need prayer from each other.

No. that's purely some "lovable" situation fake christianity does. No the place in Scripture is a baby baptized for any reason. there's a temple dedication interior the old testomony...i think of Samuel who grow to be dedicated to God as a dedication yet no longer a baptism. i ought to declare that i do no longer care what catholics or lutherns think of or the different "christian" organisation who does this. It is NOT the same thing as actual child abuse, no matter how anyone feels about Evangelists. Abused children are being physically harmed. Their lives might one day be in danger. This is not abuse; maybe it is not right, but these children are safe. Dancing and singing never killed anyone, and I'd bet that the children in India would strongly disagree with you.

Commercial evangelists by defination are after commerce(money) not evangelism. Evangelism is a beautiful concept of enlightenment towarsd God. It is not a dramma or any stage performance.

I abhor TV evangelists and all those like them. They are dragging my faith through the mud, and it's been dragged enough, in my opinion. These guys are scammer con artists looking to con people by approaching them from their most sensitive side... they should be ashamed!!!

It's brainwashing, and it should be considered child abuse. Most of the nasty right wing christians are brainwashing their children so they will become exactly like them when they grow up... Imagine a country electing another Bush as president...
