I have never kissed anybody and I am about to get braces. I have a feeling I am going to get my first kiss with braces on. Is it different kissing somebody when you have braces from when you don't?

Not really, you don't kiss with your teeth, you kiss with your lips/tongue... just be careful if you kiss somebody else with braces, supposedly they can get stuck together, although I don't know anyone that it's happened to...

When i had braces, i was sooo relucktant to kiss someone because i thought that it would be different. But i had never kissed anyone either and then i did and i was like well that isnt bad at all. But you wont want to kiss someone right after you have just got them tightened because after you do that then like 2 hours later your teeth feel like they are going to fall out. But besides that its no differnent to having regular teeth..hope everything goes well and good luck

I've read online that it's not at all hard to kiss with braces on! Just be careful not to get them stuck.

It's not really that different. If you make out with them, they can feel the brackets on their tounge or might cut their tounge on the wires. OUCH! I used to have breaces too and it wasn't hard. I never got them stuck on anyone or had anyone else cut their mouth on them. Just be a littttle bit more careful when you do. Other than that, it's not problem at all! Good luck and enjoy your first kiss!!

well no, because if you kiss somebody on the lips they would not feel your teeth they would feel your lips and if your going to tongue kiss somebody they would not feel your teeth or your braces

Mmmm...not really. You just have to be extra careful not to press in too much, otherwise it will hurt both kissers. And try not to "teeth it" a lot, just curl your lips maybe a smidgen more than you usually would, and it'll all be great. <3

well...yes its a lot different, you feel self conscious, whether its your breath or having food caught between the brackets. In fact, I dont think your can do anything more than peck someone when you have braces...sad i know!

How do you know your going to get your first kiss? You sound pretty young. Stop worrying about dating and kissing and focus on school.

EDIT: I just read another one of your questions: "Last night my sisters boyfriend french kissed me and we ended up... Should I tell my sister?"

So how is this your first kiss? o.O Liar, liar, pants on fire.
