ok so i got sick on tuesday and my temperature was 101. my temperature went down to 99/100 the nxt day and then today my temperature was at average 98/99 and ONCE was it up at 104 for about 5 mins. So.. ive been feeling better but now im starting to feel really warm again and dizzy and ive been having more cough attacks but my temperature is only 98.3. Ok now...im having trouble falling asleep and so my question is

if my temperature is only 98.3 and im fighting a cold and i DONT get a lot of sleep...will my chances of my cold and temperature being higher increase? or will my likely hood of having a fever in the morning again be the same as they would be if i got an average amount of sleep..

Hi, It sounds like you've got a bad virus. A temperature below 101 is safe and a fever makes an inhospitable environment for virus/bacteria. Above 103 is dangerous. Take lots of vitamin C, your body gets rid of excess, and try and rest. You need as much sleep as possible. Theraflu can relieve symptoms and will hopefully ensure a good night's rest. Be careful for a secondary infection, if you have ear/head/sinus pain wear a soft hat during the night and you will be surprised at how good it works. No Dr. appts, no antibiotics, just a hat! I wish you good health!

Your body to rest up in order to recover. Im not so sure about the odds but chances are if you dont rest, your not going to get better very quick.
