Your best bet for getting an accurate measure of your IQ and also information about whether you may have had a learning disability of some sort is to request your own records on any and all psychological testing done when you were in school, including grade school. All schools usually do some sort of testing, like Stanford Binet IQ tests or Wechsler Achievement tests, and there's a good chance that you would not even recall or have known that was what the tests you took were. Schools are required to keep these records for a certain period of time and you are young enough that the records should still be available. And you are entitled to access to this information and can access it yourself now that you are an adult. That's how I got my actual IQ score without having to pay for private testing by a licensed psychologist. Good luck, but whatever you may find your IQ to be, consider talking with a therapist to help you work through some of the self-esteem and social discomfort you are experiencing. The info you get from the school should be helpful to them in working with you also.

First impression: Your spelling and grammar are horrible, but this is characteristic of people on the Internet and does not in itself indicate that anything is wrong with you.

>i took like a few iq test online, and ive scored between 95 and 130

Almost all those online ones are rigged in your favor. Sadly, it's getting hard to find real, accurate ones on the Internet these days. :\ One interesting idea would be to find out how biased the online ones are and then divide your score by that factor to get a better approximation...hmm...

Anyway, if you feel dumb (and hey at least you're smart enough to admit you feel dumb, there are lots of people who aren't), the best things to do to improve your mental ability:
- Never be hostile to learning new things. Keep in mind that 'education' in official legal terms is not the same as actual learning (Albert Einstein never graduated from high school, which just goes to show you).
- Think outside the box. If you can't solve a mental exercise one way, then that way probably doesn't work, so try another way.
- Keep on doing both the above things. It has been shown that there is a positive correlation between believing that you can learn new stuff and actually learning new stuff. In other words, never give up hope.

Hello BigFlirt.. I do not think you are retarded at all. The fact that you had math lessons does not mean you are retarded. I am a normal person that also feels uncomfortable with co-workers. Maybe you are shy and insecure. You have to work in your self-steem. An iq test will not show who you are. Remember there are different intelligences besides math and writing. There is also the social inteligence. From what you wrote this is the one you lack. However you can work on it. Maybe you can seek professional help to talk about your problems. You are a really smart person who needs practice and development. Argentox2@yahoo.com

I highly doubt you have any retardation just from the way you wrote your post. People with mild retardation score in the range of 50 to 75 on IQ tests. What I would suggest instead is to ask your doctor about counseling and/or medication for social anxiety.

Borderline Intellect functioning...u don't like to be around a group of people, maybe 1 or 2 at a time, u r a loner, a slow learner and don't function at ur age level. Go see a psychiatrist and b evaluated. Or maybe u just need a job change...r u like one of the youngest people working there? It is also a fact that females mature alot faster than males. U aren't a med student (nurse ect.) r u , they have a tendency to think they have every disease that they study because of a few signs and symptoms. Good Luck....

Average iq score is between 90 and 109 so it doesn't sound like you have retardation problems. You sound like you just have a lack of confidence in yourself. Not everyone is book smart. Find something you are good at and you can excel in those areas. My brother barely graduated from highschool on time and now he runs his own business. Confidence in yourself can take yourself along way.

I would guess Aspergers (mild autism). It's believed that there is a huge range of severity when it comes to autism, and many 'normal', functioning people may actually have it. Also, you might want to check out Avoidant Personality Disorder, its a disorder in which people get very anxious about social interaction because they percieve themselves to be socially inept, and percieve others to be judgmental of them. Definitely do some research online, but your best bet is to see a psychologist and get diagnosed.

You "may" have something called Asperberger's Syndrome. I would suggest you go talk with your Doctor. He can refer you to a specialist who can make an accurate diagnosis.
BTW? I work with very high-functioning individuals who have some Developmental Disabilities. They are some wonderful individuals!
