Well i like this boy alot. He is in my class and we sit kinda near each other. Sometimes in class i see him looking at me and when i catch him i smile and he smiles back. We dont talk alot but we do talk. Alot of time in class he will come over to me and sit by me and ask me for help with the work we are doing. He normally leans in really close when im showing him what to do. And one day we were holding hands with out even realizing it. Should i just flat out ask him if he wants to hangout or something? Im just afraid he doesnt like me, you know? Im kinda new to the whole dating thing. Please help.

:] Don't worry. I can almost say for sure (just from the things you've described) that this boy definitely likes you. I know it's scary at first but i'm sure the only reason he hasn't asked you to do anything yet is because he's just as nervous as you are. It's not a question of who likes who but more of who's going to take the initiative. Don't let things in life pass you by just because you're scared. Ask him to hang out at your house, go to lunch, a movie. Something simple and casual but that will also let him know you're really interested.

Definitely. Don't even think twice. If you have the courage to ask him to hang out, do it! Life rewards initiative and enthusiasm in all fields, including dating and romance. And... you have nothing to lose. If anything, it will still be an interesting experience because regardless of his response - you will still win because you will beat yourself and your fear / shyness. Go for it!

Take it gently; go out in a group at first, then see where it takes you, but remain safe at all times. Many's the time mistakes can be made in the heat of passion which take a lifetime of "repentance" to overcome.
If he likes you, he will also learn to respect you, but you must respect yourself first.
