Well, he's giving off radiation, but then again, everyone gives off radiation. Isn't that why scientists are able to determine how old bones are based on carbon-14 dating?

As long as your husband is careful, there's no fear that he's going to give off radiation and kill you. He's got lots of agencies that are out there to protect him, one of which is OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration), which oversees a lot of businesses. He probably has to wear a radiation badge that monitors his radiation exposure. As long as he's under the limit, he's fine. But if he's ever over the limit, he will be removed from his job.

Yeah, its extremely likely that the radiation will cause some sort of biological deformities. Don't be surpised if he comes home with a third head or 11 fingers. Also, if you're planning on having kids, a red flag should go up. Exposure to radiation can cause severe sperm mutations that usually result in serious birth defects.
