When I got my cat (from a pet store) she started sneezing and I thought nothing of it. I've never owned a cat and figured she was sneezing cause I constantly have the fan on in my room. I didn't end up taking her to the vet till about a week later cause something went wrong with one of her eyes, it looked like she was going blind cause she had a whitish look to one of her pretty green eyes. When I took her to the vet they asked me if she had been sneezing and I said yes and they said she had the Feline Herpes Virus that she probably picked up from another cat at the pet store, or her mother. So now she has to take medicine with her food everyday to prevent her having an outbreak. She only has outbreaks about 2 or 3 times a year and I have to put drops in her eyes to get rid of them. I would definitely take your cat to the vet just to check her out and make sure it's nothing serious, especially if he has a cut on his neck, he may have gotten into a fight with another cat and could have caught a disease from the cat. Don't wait till the problem escalates before you address it. I have to pay for all my cat bills cause my parents didn't even want me having a cat in the first place.

I had to take my cat to the vet recently because she was sneezing constantly and would not eat.It ended up being a respiratory illness. The vet said it was kennel cough that she got at the animal shelter where I adopted her from.I adopted her several years ago but they said the virus can be dormant for awhile and come back.I gave her some medicine for a couple of weeks and now she is healthy.
You should take your cat to the vet to get checked out.

He could have allergies. Our outdoor cat is having a hard time breathing out his nose too. We took him to the vet and they gave him drops.

Take him to the vet. He could have an upper respiratory infection, or just a cold.
