I'm 22 years old, and for the past few months I've been having this brownish red discharge every so often. I have my period on a regular basis, but afterwards and before, I have this brown and red spotting on my panties. It has an odor to it too. Some days it's heavier than others.
And about sexual relationships, I'm a virgin.
What is this??

You could have a bacterial infection known as Bacterial Vaginosis. It comes with a "fishy"smellin blood tinged discharge. It is caused from douching, feminine hygiene products, deodorant soaps, body sprays ect. Its treated with a antibiotic called Flagyl, 500mg twice a day for 7 days. Your Dr. will take a culture of the discharge and you will know b4 u leave the office. Alot of females get it they just don't like to admit it.

You should really go see a doctor because when I'm on my period, I get dark, but not brown, just dark red.
And if It's heavy brown spotting, then that could be serious.

Talk to a doctor right away. Its probably just an irregular period.
