I was yawning and i guess i yawned hard enough for my mouth to open wide and when i did, i felt pain under my jaw. It was really weird cause i went to feel under and it felt as if something in between my jaw just pushed downward. After a while it was normal but now I'm afraid something bad really happened. Any ideas?

You are fine buddy. That happened to me a lot cos i have deep yawns. It hurts when i try to bite something and when i open my mouth and closing it. You simply popped your jaw and it will return to its positions after a while. You'll know when it does because it doesn't hurt anymore and your jaws can move as it normally does

More than likely it was just one of those wierd things. Try openening your mouth wide again and if it hurts you might have an overbite, underbite, or something wrong with the teeth in the back, because my freind has to get braces because when she opens up her mouth wide she feels a sharp pain.. hope that helps

You may have dislocated your jaw. You could have just popped it and it inflamed a little bit but most likely it may be dislocated.
