I have a huge cist/pimple on my thigh that has recently started talking to me and kinda looks like George Bush. I was wondering if I should call a exorcist, dermatologist or just feed a pretzel to it?

Although your question was quite hillarious, I may have a more serious answer for you. First of all, you need to examine this pimple. Is there a whitehead? If there is, there are a few steps you can follow in ridding yourself of this beast. First, wash the area really well with some antibacterial soap like Dial, let the area air dry. Make sure to use warm water so the pore has a chance to open up. Take two q-tips and use them like you would your fingers when popping a zit on your face. This will prevent scaring. If nothing comes out, this zit is not ready to pop and you should try again in a few days. Ok, if there is no whitehead, wait a few days and see if one developes and follow the steps above. If one does not appear, go see a doctor. A doctor is the only one who can really say what is going on here. Hope this helps! By the way, what you are seeing is most likely an ingrown hair gone wild.

Whoever said pop it is completely wrong. If it is a cyst, it will be buried in your skin, and feel like a little pebble. If it is a pimple- do not try to pop it! GO to a dermatologist, they will either remove the cyst, or inject the pimple with cortozone to decrease the swelling of it. If it is big and you try to pop it you could seriously scar yourself and get an infection. Dont play with your skin, youll regret it later. Just call a dermatologist. good luck :)

I think that you should try the body washes for body acne. Since they contain saylasilic (I don't think I spelled that right) acid, it should help dry out the pimple and make it go away. If you don't want to wait for it to go away then go to a dermatologist. They know all! (about skin that is. lol.)

This could be a boil. If so, do not feed! LOL bathe in condie's crystals and warm water, or betadyne, or antiseptic lotion. Keep it uncovered as much as you can, sunbathe it. When it bursts, continue keeping it as clean as possible, but cover it with a sterile dressing, changing the dressing twice a day.

sterilize a needle with rubbing alcohol then use it to pop your icky thingy. squeeze all the yuck out of it, then wash it with soap and water often and put more alcohol on it....when my sisters and i were kids i remember one them had this same problem and that's what my mom did to her and she lived and got over it, it seemed to work fine...good luck!!
