Yes, although it may be an individual thing. Anytime I drink coke or booz, I always wake up with puffy eyes. Also, if I eat too much salt, I will wake up with puffy eyes. Hope this helps.

puffy eyes when you wake up means you consumed too much salt the day before....so if the stuff you eat/drink has a lot of sodium in it, then you will get puffy eyes.

no, i eat AND drink every night before bed. no puffy eyes here! and why shouldn't people consume anything after 8 pm? sometimes i dont get home til 8pm and i drink water all through the night. and the salt thing. dont see it either. so no i'm sorry eating and drinking before bed doesn't give you puffy eyes.

Possible. Noone should eat past 8 pm anyway. Red wine makes my eyes puffy, it has lots of histamine. Test yourself and see. Everyone is different. If you don't eat or drink before sleeping, you'll certainly sleep better anyway.

i dont think that you will get puffy eyes when you wake up if you eat or drink before bed but eating and drinking before bed makes you gain weight. you are recomened i believe to eat or drink 2 hours before you go to sleep.

alcohol for sure will do that. i've eaten 30 lbs of food before bed and the only consequence was needing to change my pants because the toilet was to far away. alcoholic beverages are the only ones i know from experience that will cause puffy eyes. preparation h is the remedy of choice for models to eliminate the prob.unless you have a food allergy, drink is the only thing that will do that to you and prep h will take care of it.
