Yeah, unfortunately. It doesn't matter if you've been going out for 1 month, 5 months, 2 years, or 5 years. A break up is hard. Especially if you really cared about the person and put a lot of emotion into the relationship. The good news is that it does get better, slowly but surely. the best thing to do is to surround yourself by friends and family. They'll help you through this.

At least you only went out for 5 months, if you were going out for like 1-2 years that is much harder. You will be fine .Find some other way to take your mind off things.

ya know what ,you are not suposed to feel like that. The reason you do is because you put more effort into it than he did,it's okay to fear change, but if you shed no tears then you did the rite thing.Go find some material on micheal Beckwith ,please ,his words will take you to a place beyond hurt.He apeared on opera and is featured some what in" the secret".Trust me i'm not religeous at all but was thinking this beckwith was until i heard his phylosopy,(he's not religeous).just do it.and i'll tell you that unless you are greatfull for everything that your life has givin' you it will be imposable to move forward.so be greatfull for the expieriance and move forward and i'll asure you that he will stay put .that will bring some satisfaction real fast, trust me..

5 months ????? Let's talk when it is for more than a couple of years, then you have felt what leaving someone you care does to your heart, in the mean time, take it as a personal experience that will make you stronger for real pain and enjoy of your friends and everything else you have in your life... Hope you feel better

So sorry. Time will heal your sorrow although it doesn't feel that way right now. Be happy for the good memories and build on your positive feelings.
