Yes the 2% milk will work perfectly.

Yes, but it won't have the same velvety mouth feel.
Do you have evaporated milk? It might work better than 2% milk. But neither is the same as cream.

I think alfredo sauce just uses parmesan chees and butter. Milk?

That's what I use. You have to mix it with butter and a packet of alfredo seasoning, though.

YOU CAN BUT YOU SHOULD ADD SOME FLOUR JUST A CUPLE OF TEASPOONS, AND THEN ADD THE CHEESE AND A MINCED GARLIC CLOVE JUST ONE SMALL ONE ,AND WHITE PEPPER
