One of my favorite things I've discovered that I think tastes wonderful are cinnamon graham crackers (you can get the low fat kind) dipped in apple sauce (the no sugar added kind works fine).

For sweets, eat 1/2 cup of fresh fruit with each meal that you can. It will really cut out the cravings. For chips, switch to carrots with your sandwich. If you have to choose between chips and potato salad - go for the chips. But eat only half the bag (smush the other half). Chocolate is ok in moderation too. Buy a very small amount. Maybe the dark chocolate in a small bar. Don't buy sweets, chips or chocolate at the grocery store to keep in the house. Make it hard to obtain and it will help to break that habit.

A good alternative for say sweets like candy is fruit. if your not a big fruit person theres dried fruit, an alternative for chips is apple chips they are still deep fried but are much better than potatoes cause there arent as many starches. and chocolate cant be taken away id suggest dark chocolate, used with proper moderation have healthy anti oxidants.

Have you ever heard of wax orchard products...awesome for the chocolate cravings....check out the link.
There's also lots of chips out there too that are baked and tasty, try Sierra's not to bad for an alternative. But don't expect the same thing you get from a bag of Ruffles.
Happy Eating!!

find the same foods that have more fiber and nutrients in them so it's not empty calories. For example: sweets that contain real fruit and nuts, chips that are made with whole grains, and chocolate that is made with Splenda or mixed with some granola .

Gum. It keeps your mouth going and really cuts back on the sweet cravings...sugar free of course. Also try triscuits instead of chips. They taste great and are much healthier.

Try unsalted, unsweetened dried fruit. Banana crisps are especially yummy as a snack.

As your name suggests: FRUIT! Also good are vegetables eaten in a salad. They are tasty and very good for your health in general. Plus, you are less likely to gain weight.
