The word, primarily means to twine, to unite, or to remain, but can also mean to borrow or lend. It is used on various occassions in the Old Testament not only to express the unity between a husband and a wife, but also the unity God desires to have with His people; a unity which will be experienced in full in the new heavens and new earth but which Christians can claim with Him in the here and now. lavah means to twine, remain, unite, borrow.
Or to lend, abide with, cleave, join...

arab means to lurk, ambush, wait.

Arab is a place in Palestine.
