i've liked this guy for months already, we usually just talked over the internet because he's pretty busy with his job. finally last tuesday he asked me out to see a movie. although i really like him, the date didn't run so smoothly because i was too nervous. it was the first time we saw each other and he gave me a kiss on the cheek. after the movie, he offered to take me home. i thanked him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. he said (in our language) "i'll see you around" (something like that) so i said "sure, call me" then he waited in the car and made sure i was able to get inside the house. the next day i texted him "i really enjoyed your company last night, thanks for the dinner and movie" and he just said "ur welcome, anytime" -- that was yesterday. i haven't heard from him yet.
im dying here! does it sound like he'll be asking me out again? how long should i wait? he's pretty busy with work.

Hes just being a gentleman. When I guy is caught up in his job.. he goes on a date, just to take a break. It sounds like there wasnt much chemistry btween you two and when he says see you around. that means he only wants a hi and bye relationship.. Dont wait around for him to call and if he does, u should just be friends. Find a new guy to hang out with..
have fun.. ur young..

Sure he's interested! It was only one day. Like you said ,he's busy with work! He'll probably call within a couple of days. If not then text him.

There's an unspoken rule among guys that you don't try to seem too interested at first. The purpose is to make the girl crave you. And by the sound of it, I think it's working pretty good for him.

u know,if a guy doesnt call u, it means he is not that into u. guys dont get all worked up and forget everything. if they like a girl, they call or txt or appear somehow.not everything is lost yet...try txting yourself.just ask how is he doing, smth casual, nothing special. maybe u will start txting regularly and then it will be easier for u to ask him out and him ask u as well

It hasn't been that long! :)

And remember, you don't have to wait. If you want to go out again just call and ask!

But, keep in mind most guys have that wait a few days attitude...silliness...

I don't think he's interested in a second date. If he was interested, I think he would have said something in his text about doing it again sometime. Did you fart or something?
