He threw up a couple of days ago but I don't think he is sick. He doesn't act sick at all. I found a ra-hide bone in his cage that aparently mom gave to him. Is it possible that he just got the white for the bone on to his nose, or could he be sick. If he is sick, what can I do without taking him to the vet - my parents don't have the money to take him there.

If it peels off, and is like the dry rawhide, then it's just rawhide. They do get it on their noses and the bottoms of their feet too sometimes.

My little Cocker Spaniel, Molly, had the same problem. Her little nose would flake and peel and get very sore. The vet told me to keep Vaseline on it. It really helped a lot! She got to the point where she thought it was a pampering session when I would rub it on her nose. I had to do it daily! In the summer time I had to do it a few times a day.

A Question for you....
If you dont have the money to take the dog to the vet and give him or her the proper care that he or she needs - Then why do you have a dog ?!

my friends dog had the same thing go to the vet and get some kind of cream for it
