I have a German Shepherd, a Rottweiler, and an Italian Greyhound, and they all have dreams now and then. Every dog I have ever had has had them. The Greyhound even runs in her sleep at times. Dont worry about it , maybe your pup is just dreaming that you left him at home when you left for work, and he misses you.

Puppies dream and appear to be having wild dreams. I find if they are whining and crying, you pet them softly while they are sleeping, they get quieted down and just sleep.

Dogs dream every night. It's normal. There's nothing to worry about.

well first of all, how in the world do you know that he has nightmares . i mean you can never be sure if he really is. and second you should give him treats or good tasting food. it might get your dog to dream about treats rather thatn having bad nightmares. well thx!

How do you know he is having nightmares??? Dogs dream, and when they do it seems like they are having bad dreams but more than likely they arent. I wouldn't be to worried about it.
