Talk to each other about it.
See if either one of you feel strong enough to relocate in the future.
If you decide to, keep in contact at least a few times a week.
Dont listen to the negative comments, long distance relationships are hard enough without all that.
In the end if it's worth it, it will be 100 times better because you know you have both worked your asses off to be together and will appreciate what you have so much more.

I have fallen for someone in an other country, England while I live in the Netherlands. We met at least 8 times in ten years before we hit it off. Neither of us can move countries now, I might be able to in the future, but at this time I do not see how. He will not before retirement age and then it will be difficult because he does not speak Dutch at all. This means we see each other about 6 times a year. Which suits us, but might not suit everybody. I do know quite a few people who married a person from an other country. And lived together for a while after that, in many cases are still together. There is always friction, which country can you live, is the person moving willing and able to give up being able to walk in with the relatives and friends. Is the person moving safe in case the relation does not work out? And there are always language issues, even when both speak English, as Irish and American English are different. But it is even more important when one of the two speaks a language the other can not learn or find very hard to learn. One of the girls fell for a guy who was only making use of her and gave her a hard time. She was away from her support group, in a country where she did not speak the language and not able to leave the guy as she was expecting his child and is still bound to him by that child. He did threaten to have her older child or her elderly parents molested if she left him and he had a reputation to have done such things. Yes, it is romantic, but it has a lot of practical negatives and can have worse aspects..

It shocked me actually when I read your question.
I don't know exactly what to tell you but I told my guy friend (in another country, too!) that we should jsut stay good friends until we can make definate plans to meet and possibly be together.
I'd really like to talk with you about this.
E-mail me!!!

You say "fall in love". Try meeting in person and having some real interaction before talking like that.
