Your body processes things through your bowell naturally so when you feel the need to poo, thats when you poo. I don't think its a bad idea though if you are toilet training a child, but you just can't expect them to always do a poo.

My family doctor said the best time to see if you can get them to poop is about 15-20 mins after a meal. But I would never engourge them to hold poo in, it can make them consitpated and lead to a lot of problem.
