Sure it's okay. My only concern would be that you may drop the child with the soapy hands and all. Communal showers save energy, too. Don't worry about what others here say. In Germany families often go to nude spas together, everyone from the children to grandparents. It's too bad that our Puritain heritage makes you need to even ask the question. People need to learn that nudity does not necessarily mean sex.

I say no. At 15 months my son was very observant. He could see the differences in our bodies. At 2 years old he would look at me and say mama's boobies. It is not funny. At three he said to me can I see your boobies? I don't think this is good for the child. Just give the child a bath. It is safer in the long run.

i know [perhaps] everyone else here agrees its ok--but i don't want babies in my shower its could be dangerous-- he is so small he could slip and fall, years ago a boy slipped in the shower hit his head and ended up brain damaged, there are many other ways to bond or be close together.
let his bath time be safe and totally secure for him.
newsflash for those who are liberal about bathing with children, i was a child care worker and many instances of sex abuse happened in the shower amoung family members, as 'innocent'. One 6 y.o. asked me personally to tell her own father not to pull her in the shower ever again --she was too humiliated to tell him, imagine at her height, how non-innocent it truely was.

OMG people! I dont think there is anything wrong with a child and parent bathing together. Having your child see you naked is not going to damage them or confuse them in any way! Being naked is how we came into this world, its natural. I think everyone is forgetting how simple and clean a childs mind is, they dont know something is bad unless you tell them. When you act strange and uncomfortable and lie to your child, that is when they get confused and start learning your narrow minded ways and bad habits. Being honest and open with your child is the most important thing you can do!!

I think its fine. My partner and I showered with our daughter. It saved time and was just easier to get it all over and done with. One would wash themselves while the other washed the baby. Then they would hop out and take the baby and the other one got to finish the shower. Or if she got dirty while one of us was in the shower we would just chuck her in with them.
We all stopped showering together when she was about 18 months because she asked what Daddy had. After this he was no longer comfortable showering with her. But she continued to shower with me.
When we had our second I would chuck her in the shower with Daddy, but once she was noticed he was different it stopped.
I also showered with both kids. I'd put the toddler in first, wash her then I'd hop in wash myself, then grab the baby and wash her. It became easier once they could both walk.
My kids (6&4) still hop in the shower with me. They think its fun. But if we are in a rush in the morning its easier to all hop in the one shower rather than having three seperate showers plus all the time it takes and water is wastes.

So do you what you want. Once it feels uncomfortable then stop.

yes especially if the child is too young to bathe him/herself and you need to take a shower i don't think there's anything wrong with that unless someone specifically keeps asking to take a shower with your child then it would be cause for concern to listen to this people on here

I'm going to have to go with no... Why would you all be in the shower? I mean if he and the baby or you and the baby are in the shower thats fine but all three sounds a little...gross... not to mention crowded...

Once in a while, it really should be no big deal at that age. Now if you were talking about a 4 year old girl I would question it, but your talking about a baby....No Big Deal.

I know it could be fun, but just don't get use to do it, why? (now this is what we believe), if is a boy, and he gets older he gonna get use to se a woman naked body, and he might end up not to have any interest or lack of interest in women when he is an adult., I've heard so many stories about this back home(Dom, Republic), and it's really disturbing, so while the baby is a baby is ok, you should know when to put a stop on it.

That is really strange. I think the child would be fine with just you, not with your husband.
