It really is just common sense. The Bible provides "instructions" for how we can lead lives that don't infringe on the rights and well being of others. These same instructions are to help us learn how not to complicate our lives. Adultly plainly infringes on the legal rights of others within a marriage... as well as their children, famly members, friends, etc. Relationship involving fornication, sex outside of marriage, can easily become complicated, emotionally and physically (pregnancies, STDs, etc.).

I'm not saying it's easy to follow these instructions but the bottom line is that we be willing to submit ourselves to the Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Savior - NOT if or how many times we don't follow the instructions. The belief is that our love for the Lord will feed our desire to please Him by following such instructions and to strive to do what is right... for others, for ourselves... and for God.

The works of the flesh are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like (Gal.5:19-21 decrease than). They which do such issues shall no longer inherit the dominion of God (Gal.5:21 decrease than, a million Cor.6:10-11). Gal.5:16 [This] I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye SHALL no longer fulfill the lust of the flesh (Gal.5:19-21 decrease than). Gal.5:17 For the flesh lusteth adverse to the Spirit, and the Spirit adverse to the flesh: and those are opposite the single to the different: so as that ye can't do the flaws that ye may. Gal.5:18 yet when ye be led of the Spirit, ye at the prompt are not below the regulation (Gal.5:23 decrease than). Gal.5:19 Now the works of the flesh are practice up, that are [those]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Gal.5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Gal.5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I allow you to know earlier, as I actually have also informed [you] in time previous, that they which do such issues shall no longer inherit the dominion of God (a million Cor.6:10-11 decrease than). No, of course not. Throughout Scripture, God uses the analogy of adultery and fornication to express to us in a way that we can understand and relate to, how it makes Him feel when we go running after other gods. In many, many instances in the Bible, you can substitute the word "idolatry" in place of adultery and then you will understand what is being said. How would you feel if you went away for a while, and upon your return, you found your mate
with someone else? This is what God is trying to make you see - that it cuts to His very heart: sadness, disappointment, anger,
upset, a heaviness in the chest - think about it - how would you feel?? If you read the Book of Hosea, you will get the full sense of what I'm saying. Hosea means salvation, and the Book of Hosea is the complete plan of the salvation of Gods people. It is written to the ten tribes that migrated over the caucus mountains, becoming known as "caucasions", and who settled Europe and eventually the usa, canada and the other free Christian Nations of today. Thats right, us.
God starts out by telling Hosea the Prophet to go and marry a whore, because these people have committed great whoredoms.
Now, this is a prophecy Book, and when you read it, you will see pretty quick that the "whoredoms" comitted are idolatry.
"whoring after other gods" instead of being true to Him. Christ is to return for a virgin bride (spiritually speaking of course) and when he returns do you know what He will find? Antichrist comes on the 6th trump;
the true Christ comes on the 7th. When the true Christ does return, the mass majority of good Christian folks will be worshipping the fake "jesus", or "antichrist". Why?
Because they listen to some priest instead of to Gods Word that warns of this over and over in Scripture. This will be the greatest idolatry of all. Can you imagine that organized religions and churchs will fall all over each other to serve this fake. They will not know any better; they will think its
Jesus Christ. Hosea will tell you that mans downfall is his lack of knowledge, and that all knowledge comes from God. He says both the person and the priest will fall into the same ditch. Why? Because they are both blind. Not only do people whore after other gods, but they worship their careers, their cars, money, even other people.
An idol is anything that is more important to you than understanding the plan of God and the Word of God.
So, read again, and this time think idolatry in place of adultery. When you read fornication, think of, for example, the analogy of the true Christ returning to see his children in "bed" with Satan himself.
This is the great deceit of all time - And God will allow it - This is why you would read of how after Christ returns, Satan will be bound and held in a pit, and people will go by and look at him and say "is this the man who deceived the whole world?".

The Bible says when two are joined together in sexual union, they become one flesh (see I Corinthians 6:16)
The sexual union of a man and a woman is the most intimate physical relationship that can be shared, and is how every human being comes into existence, according to the natural order of things. It seems to me to be casual and irresponsible towards something with such weighty implications and far reaching results is a callous disregard of the most precious thing in the world - human life.

The central social construct in the Bible is the family. Adultery and fornication (sex outside of marriage) are sins that either destroy the family and/or have the potential to create incomplete families. As such, both acts are highly destructive to the overall social fabric that holds us all together.

What good do these things bring to society? Really?

If people would practice abstinent before marriage there would rarely be children without parents, STDs would be all pretty much non-existent, Divorce rates would plummet and married couples would be closer; therefore, bringing more joyful and healthy families.

No, it's because God designed sex to be within marriage between a man and a woman. Sex is a very bonding thing, and if you have sex outside of marriage, you create bonds that will eventually be broken and can hinder your ability to bond with your spouse when you do get married. Adultery is sinful for the same reason, sex was designed to be within marriage. When you marry someone, you give them claim over your body and you have claim over theirs. By having sex outside of marriage you're disrespecting your spouse's claim over your body. When you marry someone, you make a commitment, and adultery is a betrayal of that commitment.
