It depends. If the dog is on your property, and the person was uninvited, then nothing can happen. Your dog was protecting your territory, which is a natural instinct. In any other case, this depends on how bad the bite is, and the person it bit. The worst that can happen is that you would be sued, and your dog would have to be euthanized.

Alot can happen. If you can't provide proof of rabies, your dog will need to be quaranteened for like 10 days I think. Also, you may get off with a warning, but you can also get sued. And you CAN get sued even if your dog bit the person on your property! I had this happen to a friend. Her dog bit someone even though they were told to stay away from the dog. She ended up giving the dog away and got the pants sued off her, which is totally unfair! Good Luck!

Legally, you're responsible for the person's medical bills. And / Or you'll get sued. In some states, counties, cities it doesn't matter if the person is trespassing your property.
You can also loose your household insurance.
As far as the dog, some laws only allow one bite, the dog's ruled vicious, and put down. Others allow two bites.

It depends on what your laws are. My dog bit someone while on a walk, the guy that got bitten didn't seem too upset my dog ripped his shirt. Nothing really happened after that but my parents homeowners insurance wouldn't cover them anymore if they had the dog on their property. So My parents were just going to put him down but I wouldn't let that happen so I stole the dog and now I think he is much happier he has another dog to play with.

If they tell animal control, they may have to test for rabies - if you do not have a certificate/proof of vaccination, there is only one, horrible way, to test for that. Let's just say it's fatal.

1 - make sure dogs & cats are vaccinated in case someone even comes into a house where there is a pet, even if that pet normally doesn't go out

2- be very careful when a pet goes out.

Again, it depends on your state laws. In my state, the dog would have to be quarantined for 10 days to observe for rabies. Check with your local veterinarian.

It depends on where you live and whether the dog has shown vicious propensities in the past.
