How do you get charged when you buy something on ebay?

Can you pay with a money order or cash? I don't like to buy stuff over the internet with a credit card. There's this phone with I like and I want to buy and they don't sell it on the store. Can you pay with moneyorder or cash? Thanks!!!!!!!

Every individual seller has their own payment methods they accept. If you scroll to the bottom of the auction listing, it will tell you what they accept. Some only accept Paypal (which is a ripoff), others may accept cashier's checks, money orders or personal checks. Sometimes, if you contact the seller, you can ask if they will accept other payment methods. Many are very nice people and will work with you.

each ad lists the forms of payment the seller will accept. some sellers accept checks or money orders but usually it takes a while for the check to clear before they send out the stuff. Most people use Paypal, which is linked to a credit card or bank account, and is very safe. Regarding cash(!!), I'm amazed to hear this sugggestion... sending cash through the mail is much more dangerous than using a credit card.

A wiser way is to mopen up a paypal account with your credit
card. The seller will get paid by paypal but will never know
any specifics about your credit card. You can make arrangements with the seller to send him a money order but
he will delay sending your phone until the money order has cleared the bank which may delay things a week to 10 days.

Yes you can pay by money order. You must first set up an account with all your information on it and they will ship to you once they received your money order.
