I would be talking to her, and she gets out these suspicious looking red pills and eats one. She finished a whole bottle in one day. It's scaring me. She said she "likes them." It's weird, she never said she wants to kill herself or anything, and she's generally happy. But she pops pills. She says they taste good or whatever. And yes, they ARE real pills, but sometimes she eats way more than the "suggested dose" of vitamins. It's scary... What should I do to help her? She told me not to tell anyone.

Too much of any pill, even vitamins, is bad for you.
Let her know seriously the health risks she has. Find out what it is she's taking. And if she's taking them to lift her mood, you have to help her stop taking them.

Well first of all, what kind of pills are they? If they are vitamins they really can harm her. An overdose of vitamins can be detrimental to some organs. If they are prescription pills, or pain killers then obviously they will definitely harm her. The best thing to do, is tell her, "You need to stop!" If she doesn't listen than you need to tell someone. Tell her parents, or tell someone you think might be able to get through to her. It's not fair that she is putting you through this, I know, I've been in a similar situation. Don't worry about her being mad at you. It's better to have a friend mad at you, than a friend that's hurt...or worse.

I would suggest you notify a councelor to the situation anonymously. If they confront her, she will get the help she needs (assuming there is a problem). If you clarify that you want to remain anonymous as well, she won't find out you told. Maybe in the future, if she has gotten better, you could tell her you notified the councelors. By then, she can only thank you.

She needless to say has no admire for you or herself, she will come to grief sometime, and understanding her habit you the two agre along with her tablet popping or provide her up fullyyt as a chum. you won't be able to alter her no count number what you're saying or what your adventure has been; addicts are the main egocentric people on earth bar none.My suited buddy in severe college commencing making use of heroin surprising after HS and did no longer tell me; people did yet i presumed they have been mendacity. as quickly as I confronted her she lied to my face and stated she became basically chipping (making use of parttime) yet i found out no longer basically became she a annoying center consumer yet she grew to become tricks in food market parking plenty to get money for her drug use. She died some years in the past after suffering extraordinarily for 2 years being paralyzed from a stroke led to via the drug use. you won't be able to alter an addict.

Are they vitamins? Or are they are real drug? You said both? Taking more of ANYTHING is bad for you.
If she is under 18, you need to tell her parents.

DONT tell a counselor it will make it worse and oculd lead to her doing it even more, but do confront her, but dont Attack her, bring it up and just talk to her about it, but dont make it sound like your accusing her. my friend was addicted to meth, so i know what your feeling, but you must just give it time and take baby steps. if it gets worse then you need to tell someone.
