Mostly you are going to be using 3 types of fish, being either salmon, tuna, or crab. Then there is inside out roll with rice on outside or the regular rolls with seaweed outside. Im going to teach you how to make a salmon and avacado roll with seaweed on outside.

tools you will need: a sharp knife, bamboo rolling matt
ingredients: sushi rice, vinegar for sushi (it will look orange/yellow), salmon fillet, avocado, mayo, nori seaweed

buy 1/3 a pound (for a couple meals for 1 person) to 1 pound (for a weeks worth for 1 person or for a dinner for 1 family) of salmon fillet and ask them to take off the skin. Next buy 1 ripe avacado which you could use for 6 to 8 rolls. And if you want, buy a cucumber.

for 6 rolls use 1.5 cups of rice...clean the rice 1st by washing it over and over again...2nd cook the rice in saucepan with 1.75 cups of water (boil water 1st then add rice cook for 20 minutes on low simmer). Wait 10 min and mix rice with 3 tablespoons of the sushi vinegar very throughly. Then cut your avacado into thin strips as well as your salmon. Next lay a seaweed sheet on rolling mat. Wet hands and use hanful of rice and lay it out flat covering half of the seaweed paper. Lay down 2 avocado stripps down center of rice. Lay salmon strip over that. Then add mayo on top for taste.. Curl up to make a roll on the rice side of the roll...once you got a partial roll use the mat to roll it over the uncovered rice portion to make the complete roll. Cut and serve.

If you dont want to eat raw fish buy the imitation crab meat. Salmon is mostly safe whether u get it in supermarket or sushi grade but for best taste u need sushi grade. Meat lasts for 2 days in fridge.
