Why must i be labeled a jew even though I'm technically not?

My only link to Judaism is through my father who was raised in a jewish family but is now an atheist, why must i still be referred to as a kike by the neighbors?

People are regarded and regard themselves as Jewish because of their beliefs, race, and/or residence. Not all people who are Jews outwardly are Jews inwardly.
