Does anyone care that the first Busch Series Regular in points right now is Marcos Ambrose?! As in, If it wasn't for the cup guys.. Marcos would be LEADING the Busch Series Points.. I'm impressed. That Aussie has got some talent! He is currently 5th in points (this is his ROOKIE season ya know?) and the ones infront of him are Edwards, Hamlin, Blaney, and Harvick! C'mon.. Someone give this guy some props! I know alot of youw ill just bash this guy probably.

That's really good, especially being a rookie in the Busch Series and racing against Cup regulars. Personally I know alot of the Cup guys use Busch races for practice, but I think they need to get the Busch Whackers out of the Busch Series and let those guys in the Busch series use it for what it's intended for, for them to get racing expirience to move up to the cup series.

i think that hes doing a great job, even tho i like to see the cup guys in some of those races i belive if you run nextel cup full time your points should not be counted in the busch races that way the busch regulars would win the busch championship and the regulars of that series would get more recognition

Hey NASCAR needs to have the drivers make up their minds, too many cup drivers in the Busch series.I watched Ambrose run some truck races last year on so far he has done very good this year.Hope he keeps up the good work, good luck.
That's all I have to say about that.

It is surprising; he's been in the top 15 since the first race. If he can keep this up or maybe pull of a win like Gilliland did against the unforgiving buschwackers that have won all but two races last year, he definitely has a good shot at landing a cup ride.

I was watching Ambrose when he was still driving in the Australian V8 Supercar series and winning championships. (thank god for Speed Channel) The talent is obvious and it's good to see him getting a chance to showcase it to a broader audience in America. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a Nextel Cup ride in the near future...perhaps with the rumors floating about that the Wood Brothers will be starting a second team?

Actually that's quite a showing to be up in the top 5 with the "Cup" regulars. I agree though....Nascar should limit the amount of "Cup" drivers that partake in the Busch races.

No. Johnnie Sauter was the highest non Buschwacker in points last year. I think a seperate champions trophy should be awarded to whoever leads in points and only races in that series.
