Nope. According to the few news reports I've heard about the area, they are doing pretty well for themselves. Bustling shops, relatively low violence, kids playing and going to school, good for them. Perhaps their countrymen could learn a thing or two from them.

Probably should ask a Turk how they feel about that. Seems to me that they have a lot more at stake in the matter than 'Democrats" (or Republicans) do.
