Yes, pet fleas can bite humans and their bites can look like mosquito bites. A flea shampoo and flea collar takes care of the problem. You also need to wash all linens and fog your home in every room AND have your yard sprayed for fleas all at once same day as pet flea shampooing. Flea shampoo, collar and foggers are all available at grocery stores or places like Walmart. You might want to check with your vet about his or her recommendations. There is a new once every few months type of liquid drops that are applied easily behind your pet's neck that works well against fleas. Some cats can be allergic to flea collars. The reaction is hair loss around the collar. Remove the collar if that happens. As for your bites, if you have any, wash with warm water and hand soap, apply triple antibiotic ointment and leave open to air . . .don't cover with a band aide. Don't scratch them. Remember, the assault must be orchestrated all on one day.

The answer is yes. From experience, a flee can very easily bit a human. However, not in the way that you're imagining. A flea is not like a tick, which will actually attach itself to your body. Fleas, are more like lice in that they will live in your hair, clothes, bedding, etc. unless they are taken care of. Their bites do very much resemble mosquito bites on humans. A lot of times, people think their cats have fleas because they scratch their ears a lot. If that's the case your cat may have ear mites. Take her to the vet, they'll give you drops and that'll be the end of it. If it's fleas, buy a flea shampoo to eliminate the ones that are there and a flea medication or flea collar to prevent them in the future. They also sell sprays (in the bug spray section of any store) that will kill fleas. Spray your couch, bed, carpet, etc. with that to eliminate the ones around the house.

Yes flees can bite but they don't attach like ticks, they just bite and then jump away. Plus if you don't take care of the problem they can get in your carpet in your house and start an infestation. So don't let it go that far. Frontline is what i use on my cat to keep fleas and ticks off her. It works very well and you can get it from your vet.

Fleas stay all year round; they tend to bypass dormant in chilly climate, particularly on outdoors cats yet will stay very lively in the homestead, the position there is warmth all iciness. in case you nevertheless take care of this stray cat, get her a flea collar. in spite of the undeniable fact that, relying on the position you're, what you've set up for her received't be adequate look after for her for the iciness. in case you experience you may't take care of her, or carry her into your position,it may be best to take her to a community animal look after particularly than leave her out in what you indicated may be very chilly climate. you may also get easily a kind of flea therapy drops that you squeeze out correct in the back of the accurate, on the bottom of the neck. once you've a small area the position you may save her, then when you position on the flea therapy (and do it on your kitten besides as a prevention) and save her remoted for a at the same time as. examine to work out if she truly does have fleas. considering that she is a stray and has been living outdoors for a minimum of the time you've undemanding her, i'd imagine that she would not take too kindly to a bath. you would possibly want to apply the sponge bath style the position you soak a huge towel in a mixture of break of day and heat water, then rub her down; towel dry her nicely and carefully; then use the drops. i'm getting so unhappy listening to about animals left to fend for themselves, particularly this time of year, and some form soul tries to help, including you. to study to work out if she is pregnant - if she will be able to show you how to, turn her on her back on your lap and examine her breast to work out in the journey that they are enlarged and not in any respect the tiny little ones that you generally see (like what you may see on your kitten - both male and woman kittens have breasts- basically no longer so obtrusive in men.) desire i might want to grant some other thing beneficial. If I arise with any options, will positioned them in "comments".
