How much are you paying for your child's day care in OC, CA? Please provide the age of your child and the name of the institution you are using? My wife wants to go back to work and we have to find a good day care that will not cost us more than $1000 per month.

Instead of taking the recommendation of a stranger over the internet, why don't you pick up the phone and call these different day cares, go on tours, compare prices. Don't just take someone you never met's word for it. You don't know what their standards for care are for their child, they may be completely different than yours!

I found a GREAT sitter on craigslist.org (in the Orange County section) that came with certifications, references, etc; She can pick up and take my child home and play with him there (she even spends an hour tutoring). My kids are 4 and 10 and I pay her about $200/week for 4 hours of work each day.
You'll get a lot of responses and you can interview each one to see which you feel the most comfortable with.
