There are two ways you can look at this: the humane way and the economical-social way.
On the humane way: the soldiers are doing nothing but occupying a nation that does not want to be occupied. We should give up and go home because nobody cares anymore.
On the economic way: Some huge percent of the worlds oil comes out of the that area. If we pull out, there is no doubt in my mind that there will be full out civil war between sunni and shia that will involve Iran, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, and many other arab nations. This would halt the oil trade coming out of that area and practically economically cripple the gas guzzling United States. This would make gas prices sky rocket, make people in the U.S. pissed off, and possibly just make us have to go back in there again to establish peace.

Bottom line: Its the lesser of two evils. Either he keeps putting people in to hold the peace now, or he starts a civil war and has to go back in later.

Sending more troops would lead to more people in Iraq and less productivity for the army in other (more important) locales. It is a waste of times, materials, and respect for the United States. In sending more troops, we are slowly depleting our allies and increasing our enemies. In other words, no.

Now that he has made the mistake of taking iraq it is his duty to stay. In al truth the cizizens of iraq were happier under dictatorship because they were realatively safe. Unlike now where the county is on the brink of civil war. Because of bush's mistake he MUST stay there to try and minimilize the casualties
