Liscense??

Question

When you are 18 or over, do you need to pass a test to get your liscense for the first time? Thanks

haha, no. I was told that you have to take a test, and someone else told me that I didn't have to. I just want to be prepared. Thanks 4 answering:)

Yes. You have to take the written portion and driving. The written portion is your states department of transportation guidelines, and the driving involves you in a car with a state trooper or dps worker grading you. You have to parallel park, and drive following what directions they give you. You have to get a 70 or above for both, to pass and get your drivers license.

The difference is that most states also require driver's ed for anyone who wants a license if they are under 18, whereas if you are over 18 you can get yoru license without going through the course.

Well ya do you think you just go down to the DMV and thy give it to you free.
If you want a licence you have to take a test no matter if it is your first or a the 10th time you are getting it.
You are tested to see if you know the law and if you can drive a car.
