The best way for a community of any religion to improve its human relations and contribute to solutions in global concerns is to harmonize the messages of its words with the reality that manifests before us in the world among other people. People in general regardless of religious creed should try to base their morals on human needs and not metaphysical explanations. Tending after the well-being of others, whether it's in the medical or other field is NOT a selfish act and the Golden Rule should become priority.
Human words will alway present themselves as a double-edged sword and the interpretation one takes away is deeply rooted in one's heart but indoctrination and deception can alter the meaning of words with such ease. For example, the Arabic word "Jihad" does NOT mean Holy War. It simply means "Struggle" in it's simplest definition and carries no other meaning. It stems from the 3-letter root word "JaHaDa" meaning "to exert effort". Since a struggle can be emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, political, or what have you, the meaning of what this struggle has become in accordance with extremists, is a vent for hate and anger instead of a personal moral conviction. I'm not Muslim but I do know for a fact that the majority of Muslims do not agree with this interpretation of "jihad" and prefer the more acceptable and rational definition in accordance with human society and the global community.
If you determine on your own what a message is, apart from other interpretation, hopefully the results would be more compatible with human needs and rational solutions.
Another notion that is creating a divide between human relations, solution finding, and some Christian perspectives, is the idea of "practicing war while preparing for peace". The notion that we as people are not responsible for peace in the world and only Jesus' second return will bring it back, espouses neglect and irresponsibility in human relations. Instead of becoming part of the solution people are just waiting for one.

As I see it, the biggest problem with humans relations is people are disconnected from the God who made them.
I became reconnected more than 30 years ago when I was born again through faith in Jesus Christ, and received forgiveness of sins.
The immediate result was, I stopped hating God and started loving Him and I stopped hating people, because I realized we were all in the same boat, just sinners needing to get connected with God. When everyone gets right with God, there will be no more cause for problems between us.

Human relations is how we interact with each other.
The largest problem I believe are Christians judging Christians. We decide who's religion is right or wrong. Non Christians believe we are all wrong to use the Bible to base our morals on. We can learn to accept others beliefs & be more kind to sinners - You know " hate the sin but love the sinner" - that would mean no name calling.
