Perhaps I should rephrase. I have read in the TNT that you are allowed to spread your working restriction of 12 months over your 2 years, travelling etc in between. This is what I would like to do. Does any1 have any suggestions regarding the kind of jobs I should be looking at? Casual work is ideal because it is flexible but does not always pay very well. Does any1 have suggestions for sources of good work that is casual/ flexible?

And does any1 have any tips of how to manage this kind of "lifesyle"? I am accostomed to receiving a salary at the end of every month, how do people manage to budget etc with part time work. How is the best way to go about this. Im looking for tips.

Having read your re-phrased question I have withdrawn my prevous observation as you appear to be trying to do the right thing. Sadly I have no wider insight to offer you, but best wishes.

get contract jobs from an agency.
Decide what is important to you - is it your travels or living in a cushy flat with all the amenities... be prepared to make some sacrifices. Save some money every week.
