i need to buy dust free wood shavings for my hens nest boxes, there is nowhere locally for me to buy, so i need some websites were i can buy it in small amounts and that they do shipping also, please help, any information and advice will be greatly appreciated.

There is a product for horses called "easy bed" this is more a wood chip than a shaving but it is dust free. I use a hemp called "Aubiose" this is the best......even my hamster is bedded on it!

Another options wood be carefresh bedding. It is made out of recycled newspaper pulp and is dust free and completly safe. Most pet stores carry it.

There must be a feed merchant somewhere in your area, go to a local stables and ask where they buy their bedding and feed. Feed merchants should be able to get you dustless bedding. If you buy it online, you will probably find you will have to buy in huge quantities, because they will have to deliver in large amounts, to make the travel distance and fuel etc worth while. Ask for Woodchip

This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.

a pet store or your local vet should be able to tell ya where u can get that stuff...if all else fails. google it or try ebay
