No. They are afraid to praise our troops at all. It could be Al Gore or John Kerry in the White House and they still would be destroying our service men. In the 60's they outright said what they thought of those willing to die for this country. After, the backlash that came from that hatred of service men, they changed tactics. "We support the troops, but the war is unjust and not working" That's like saying you love your stylist but she can't cut hair. The fact of the matter is that the Democratic party has been high jacked by Eco-Terrorist and Socialist who believe that if we didn't have a military then all the worlds ills would disappear. The really unfortunate part is that the Republican party has been high jacked by Liberal ideals and are spending us into oblivion.
Yippie!!!!

Are republicans afraid to praise the many Bush failures in the fear they may lose votes in 2008?

What accomplishments?

Our army is as outfoxed and outclassed as the British were during the American Revolution. They are dressed in identifying outfits (like the British redcoats) falling into formation (convenient for efficient targeting) and completely dependent on contractors such as Halliburton for everything from their mess to their fortifications.

Then, after serving as sitting ducks for IEDs in a totally foreign environment, they come home to compromised medical care and reduced VA services.

Accomplishments?

I don't understand why conservatives are so outspoken in this forum, while liberals tend to keep quiet.

But no, we're NOT afraid to praise accomplishments of our military. Just like any other decent American, we love our country and we love our military. Without them, we wouldn't be where we are.

But the bottom line is...what, exactly, have they done to earn "praise" as far as accomplishments are concerned? I mean, yeah, we love our military and thank them at every possible opportunity...but I fail to see the "accomplishments" that you refer to that we must acknowledge.

That and it's a monkey see monkey do type thing. Once one democrat does something, they all have to do it. No brains of their own.

our military is the best on earth. they've been put in a war and not given a strategy that can win. they were lied to about our reasons for being there.

I wish they could be open-minded about accomplishments. But I have seen very narrow minds in that party.

Anyway, thanks to all our military guys! You are the finest Americans.
