I just need a portable audio/video player with Wifi + web browsing.

Which one should I look into more?
The Cowon Q5, Archos 704, Sony PSP, or something else?

I have owned two Archos Portable media players. The 140 and 320. I will never buy an Archos again. Here is why:
1) Both have lasted no longer than 1 year of use. The battery burst on the 140 and the joystick button broke on the 320.
2) Archos players do not support most types of video. So its kid of pointless as a video player. Y.ou need to mess with their complicated uninstallable software to convert files to make them viewable
3) The battery life of an Archos is horrible. When an Archos runs out of batteries, it takes at least fives minutes of charging to turn it back on even if you connect to AC power.
4) Archos does not offer any kind of technical support or repairs on discontinued models.
I just bought the Cowon A2 30gb. It has a very intuitive interface, plays most video files, has amazing battery life, and quite affordable at $305 at newegg.com

Maybe in your case the Q5 would be better seeing as how it has wifi.

AS WITH ANY EXPENSIVE ELECTRONIC ALWAYS BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!! YOULL BE GLAD YOU DID!

I definitely have a black 30gig video iPod (in person-friendly words $250 if I shop in ideas properly) and it fairly works splendidly! i have under no circumstances had any problems with it. the picture is suitable (often times i imagine more advantageous powerful than my television demonstrate screen lol). And it helps all information. If no longer all you may do is bump right into a video converter for it. It in person-friendly words performs mp4 videos even if the converter is free and doesn't take very lengthy in any respect (except you've an quite sluggish workstation) and it ought to even move the video into iTunes for you as quickly because it really is executed replacing! below is the link for this methodology.
