Dear Vanassa,
My wife started her nursing career over 35 years ago. She started as a nurses aid, then went into the LPN program and on to her RN, BSN, and now her Masters. You can be successful in whatever you put your mind too. Health care professionals are so underrated. If you do not have the heart for it you will not succeed. You must love people, and you must want to help them . They say nurses are born with healing hands, and caring hearts. I have come to see that over the years. So go for your dreams. If you want to be a LPN go for it. Its a one year certificate program. Then you can decide if you want to go further into nursing. Give us a post back when you start your program, best wishes to you.

If a person is a caring, people-oriented person, they should do quite well.. if they're just getting in it, expecting glory, or something of that nature, they may make it, butttt, they'll never be very good at it.. because their insincerity will show through..
