"You don't have to be sexually repressed to worship here, but it helps"

But seriously, when I was a christian, very few of the christians I knew were sexually repressed. They were just as sexually active as anyone else. Some of them would stick with a single partner for a long time, some would sleep around. Some, of course were married. Those either stuck by their spouse or they cheated. Some were celibate. There was no difference between the church and the secular world at all.

It *is* true to say that some people who are sexually repressed hide it behind religion, and that is where your idea might be coming from.

Well, I think this is under one's own opinion. In different religions, there are all kinds of sexual restrictions. I think, if you really want to look at it in a way that is it right or wrong to have sex outside of a marriage, all religions, as far as I know say that it is wrong. They say that that particular act is for making children (unless I've missed something). Then again, if you look at it from a more modern stance, in order to keep our mate secure, it seems we have to act on our sexual urges(or temptations) within our marriage in order to ensure a mate does not stray from us. Whether it's right, or wrong in religion, the fact is that, it's what most of us have to deal with in reality. Since reality has changed it's opinion on what a sexual act is for, in general, we seem to have to change our beliefs in order to humor the majority. It is something we have a tendancy to enjoy, therefore, it can be considered a sin to act on that temptation.

So, is eating chocolate a sin, even if it's only a piece? We enjoy it, do we not?

That depends on how you define repressed. If you think not being able to have sex with anyone you like whenever you like is repressed, then at least to follow the Christian faith I would says yes.

But speaking as married Christian I probably have a whole lot more sex then most single fornicators.

No. In many of the Neo-Pagan religions, sexuality is seen as a natural and healthy part of human existence.

Only if you are Christian; and even then some sects sneak out of the repression.
Basically the Christian (now Catholic) church adopted St.Augustine's belief that sex is sin philosophy and handed it on down to the Prodestants. Only in marriage is it tolerated, and even then it's pushed as only a way to make babies.
This is why birth control, abortion, and pre marital sex are so frowned upon.

Not even close. I enjoy a healthy, meaningful, and adventurous sexual relationship with my husband. We do lots of things that would make a grown man blush.

And I'm a Christian.

You are allowed to have as much sex as you want, and any kind of sex you want, as long as you only do it with your spouse. And that is just the Western religions. Maybe other religions out there allow or even encourage promiscuity and free expression.

It is merely mandatory to stay within the good Godly rules of sex- like within marriage and with opposite sex. Is that really so hard given all the dangers and disease?
