I have heard this term being thrown around a lot in restaraunt reviews, but I can't figure out what it is. Nobody is defining the word, So please, what is micro-gastronomy?

Are you sure you aren't thinking of molecular gastronomy?

I have read a little on the subject, but it all sounds a step too far for me! It is a case of truly bringing SCIENCE into the kitchen and involves finding ways to change the molecular behaviour of foods! Here in the UK, Celebrity Chef Heston Blumenthal recently had his own TV series running on the subject.

The result? The strangest combinations and concoctions! I prefer my food, just a little more traditional!!

I had a study and as far now it means like a mixture of scientific chemicals and normal food, this foods may cost a lot because the food are not made by the chef but the scientist.
