www.craigslist.org is a free site where you can post and other people can post.

go to that site, then on the right hand side choose your state, then choose the closest city to you. under "community" you can click on childcare.

it really is 100% free, but you may have to weed through people who aren't really babysitters, but think they can be one. :)

also, you can go to your local college and see if they have an education department. there was a bulletin board in my education building where people and preschools would post ads for childcare help.

hello there. You may want to contact your local Girls scouting club, school system, ask when you are at the grocery store, or ask your neighbors with children.
Where are you located, maybe I could offer to help as I have a lot of free time on my hands. I am outside of Rochester, NY
shado1956@yahoo.com. OH another idea, what about your local red cross chapter. I know they have babysitters classes there, maybe they can direct your paths too! good luck my friend!

i dont know where you live, so advice to you would be to maybe place an ad in the local paper, do interviews and definetly check references!!!! its hard to trust anyone these days!!! have you tried a local daycare???? again if you go this route, go and check it out... they have to be state licensed,,, just be careful with who you leave your child with.... im sorry, but people can be deceiving...
