yes there is one God, and one truth, which is Jesus Christ (John 14:6)
I don't know about the 99% beleiving that though--many do not believe God does exist---they are blind to the truth and many will come to the knowledge of the truth, praise God! Because the gospel is being proclaimed throughout the world- and many are receiving it.
God says:Deuteronomy 4:35
You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other.
Isaiah 44:8
Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one."

Well your precentage would be off if Universalists are correct ( The Idea God is a God who will accept worship in any form nor matter what concept of GOd you have.) Or a major religion like Christianity or Islam is correct. However it is ture that probably most peoples concept of God is incorrect to one extent or another.

It is interesting to note that 3 of the top world religions ALL believe in the same God; Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It is merely a matter of sifting through the evidence and testimony to determine the truth, of Jesus!

If there was a god, he would have ripped out that stupid tree before anything else. But noooo
But it's not a matter of importance. The idea of a god is horrendous.

As God is perceived ,so is he. How do we know that it isn't the same God, with many differing names. Does it have to be my god or your God that is the God. I believe in one God so do many others. God is God no matter what you call him.
