Should i Break up with my bf?

My dad is presuring me to break up with my bf because he doesn't like him cause my brother got jealous and said he called my dad little petty names and so my dad doesn't even know him and he doesn't like him what do i do i really like him but i can't deal with my dad nagging me about it every day

Well see my brother i think is jealous because he didn't have a gf untill 9th grade and i had one since 8th grade if you know wat i mean and yes my dad has met him but hasn't got to know him he believes everything my brother tells him including bull face lies that my dad knows are lies

ur dad cant tell u who u can and cant date just do it behind his back and dont have him over.

well heres a qestions for you. has your dad met your boyfriend? if not, it might be the best way to end this nagging.
secondly its not his place to nag or complain about who you date, who you date it your buisness and your buisness alone.
as well i am a older brother and i understand why he would be doing this, but i dont get jealous over who my sisters date. so go try talking to him about the issue.

but the bottom line is, if you like they guy, stay with him. dont let family get inbetween you and him.

tell your brother to get a life and stop getting jealous over yours... and do what you feel. if there is another reason your dad doesn't want you to date him maybe you should listen. or bring him over so your dad can meet him and build his own judgement not just relying on someone elses.

Well you seem young. I've learned as an adult that my parents knew much more than I thought they did when I was a teen. They're not as clueless as you think. ;-) You might want to consider your father's opinion.

you shouldn't let your family tell you what to do. it's your life. if you really like the guy you should stay with him. your dad has no business in telling you who you can and can't date.
