I run a mile in 7:30 right now. Kinda slow but I want to try and get it faster. I also want to lose about 10 pounds. I currently am 5'4 and weigh 125. Anything I can do? I go to the gym every other day for about 2 hours. Any advice or comments are welcome!

OKay, well as long as you run everyday and stuff your good, im guessing you are in track. Well, just make sure you push yourself and you have to be sore like 5 days a week. Losing weight may even increase your mile, but it depends what your peak performance weight is. So i would reccomend trying to consume 1500 cals a day since that is how much you burn off just breathing every day. And being at the gym for 2 hours, lets say burns 500 cals. That's a pound a week. 3500 cals is one pound. Eat healthy, try eating egg whites, they are loaded with protein and are filling at only 15-20 cals a piece. I eat like 3 egg whites a day, it should help with muscle recuperation as well. Eat dried fruits maybe, whole wheat spaghetti, beans etc.

You do not need to lose any weight. You are perfectly fine at 124.

You could weigh up to 138 and be fine.
