Xians, Xmas, it's all just about too many letters for a label when characters are limited. Both have been around since the nineteen forties. Just like Christians used Pagans for hundreds of separate religions.

No.

I don't happen to find the abbreviation "Xtians" to be offensive. The "X" is the symbol for the cross of the apostle Andrew.

I've never understood "Xtians"

the "X" is shorthand for Christ. So why add the extra "t"?
If it's Xmas...wouldn't it be Xians?

Incidently, the spellcheck doesn't correct Xians.

I'm not sure what an xtian is so I can't answer the question.

I guess it's probably People who try to live like the letter X .

Who cares? Few people spell properly, use spell check or even care... and even get hostile when you demand accountability...

Doesn't matter right? I mean if you're a doctor writing a prescription and you can't spell nor write worth a hooie blame it on the stupid nurse who you just screamed at for paging you 4 times to clarify your idiotic spelling so she doesn't kill your poor patient by administering the wrong medication thereby causing her to get sued... and you shot.

If I go back into nursing somebody PLEASE slap the &*^% out of me...

No one knows what you mean by Xtians.

Makes sense to me. The x is right under the s, so it makes sense that people might accidently hit an x when they meant to type an s.

Well, the actual spelling is XIAN (as in, XMAS). X was a symbol, from what I understand (and therefore, could be wrong), of Christ. Plus, it's easier to just type xian.

Yes, because there's no such word as Xtians. What were you TRYING to type?

Xtians is just lazy.
Type out the word Christians.
It's just like Xmas or PolySci or Caf or LOL or U instead of You
or idk or omg or ur or 4real
Why is everyone so d*mn lazy about speaking and writing.
