I was always waiting for another racer to come up with some smart a*s remark:

...Mark and the Viagra team really were "stiff" competition out there today...

...Mark was sure racing "hard" out there today...

or

..I was impressed to see how Mark and the Viagra team could keep going at it for hours...

Martin is my favorite driver, but I would have loved to see other racers have a sense of humor.

That gag order was signed before the car was unveiled i think "To all drivers, when speaking to the media you are forbidden to make any humorous remarks about the "pfizer viagra"sponsored car which may be offensive to some of our viewers" In other words say nothing of it period.

Surely Mark Martin's got a sense of humor, and can take a joke as good as the next man, but Mr. Martin is a "class act" that draws a lot of respect from all the racers and the media people, and as sdpooh says, "money runs the show at NASCAR, and if someone said something that was taken the wrong way by the sponsor (or by NASCAR itself), then UHHH OHHHH." So you can tell those kind of jokes in the stands, as in "stand up" comedy (haha), but not among professionals in such a monied and commercial and fan oriented sport, without some significant consequences if it got "misinterpreted". God Bless you.

Martin is just too good of a driver for anyone to joke around like that, especially the younger drivers that have less experience. Besides, its been more than a few months since Viagra was his sponsorship while he was still at Roush. The only kind of remark that I could expect about him this year is that he is plowing the field in his Army tank.

The other drivers have a sense of humor. Watch some of the commercials. But, money runs the show at NASCAR and if someone said something that was taken the wrong way by the sponsor then UHHH OHHHH. They would only allow "funny" if they thought of it first.

Mark Martin goes into the corners deeper and comes out harder. I always wondered why Viagra didn't sponsor Dick Trickle.

Viagra may have made the competition stiff, but when he became an Army of One, he was closer to finishing (first at least).

It's Mark Martin.. No self-respected NASCAR fan would make fun of him... I did love the Cledus T Judd song though. I love NASCAR... He said " Cause that Viagra car is always driven HARD! "
